Business After Hours at Jamestown 4-H Educational Center

Join the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce on Thursday March 19th for our next Business after hours, hosted by the Jamestown 4-H Educational Center! The team at Jamestown 4-H is excited to highlight Jamestown 4-H Educational Center as a community resource and event venue while sharing the impact of their youth development, educational, and leadership programs. They aim to strengthen relationships with local businesses and explore opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and corporate team-building retreats.


Event Highlights:.

  • Fun Activities: Guests will have the opportunity to engage with staff and learn more about our programs through informal networking and program displays.
  • Networking: Connect with fellow business professionals in a relaxed and informative setting. Expand your network and forge new relationships.
  • Delicious Hors d'oeuvres: Enjoy a selection of tasty hors d'oeuvres to complement the conversation.
  • Two Drink Tickets: Sip on refreshing drinks as you mingle and learn.

In addition, the Chamber team will be hosting a 50/50 Cash Raffle at check-in. Tickets will be available for purchase at $3 each or four for $10, giving you even more chances to win!

Jamestown 4-H Educational Center is a year-round nonprofit camp and conference center serving youth, families, schools, and community groups throughout the region. For nearly a century, Jamestown 4-H Educational has provided hands-on, experiential learning programs focused on youth development, environmental education, leadership, and outdoor recreation. Accredited by the American Camp Association, Jamestown 4-H Educational Center partners with schools, community organizations, and businesses to deliver high-quality programs that build confidence, resilience, and life skills in young people. Jamestown 4-H Educational Center also serves as a gathering place for conferences, retreats, and special events, supporting both educational and economic vitality in the community. 

4-H Leadership

Sue Williams, Executive Director - As Executive Director, Sue Williams provides strategic leadership for Jamestown 4-H Educational Center, overseeing operations, program development, and financial sustainability. She ensures all programs align with nationally recognized best practices in youth development and meet community needs. Sue brings 30 years of experience in camping and youth programs, including ten years leading Jamestown 4-H Educational Center. Her expertise in nonprofit management and strategic planning has helped expand the center’s reach and impact while delivering meaningful, high-quality learning experiences that support student success.

This Business After Hours offers a unique opportunity to learn about the Jamestown 4-H Educational Center while connecting with the local business community. We look forward to seeing you there!
