Common Grounds Networking Event

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce is excited to debut Common Grounds, a new, FREE FOR MEMBERS networking series designed to foster deeper connections and propel business growth within our vibrant community.

Join us for our inaugural event, where you'll have the chance to network with fellow members, enjoy a dedicated spotlight on our host, and deliver a 60-second pitch about your business. It's the perfect way to make new connections and strengthen existing ones.

What to Expect

Start your morning right with a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. We'll have coffee and light breakfast snacks ready for you upon arrival.

The 75-minute event will follow a structured yet informal format:

  • Arrival & Refreshments: Grab a cup of coffee and a snack while you mingle with the first arrivals.
  • Host Spotlight: Our host, Williamsburg Jewelers, will get a brief spotlight to introduce their business, share their mission, and give you a glimpse into their beautiful location.
  • Round-the-Room Pitches: This is your chance to shine! You'll have 60 seconds to introduce yourself and your business to a room of fellow members.
  • Informal Networking: Following the pitches, continue the conversation and build on the connections you've made in a casual setting.

About Our Host: Williamsburg Jewelers

We are honored to have Williamsburg Jewelers as our very first "Common Grounds" host. As a cornerstone of our business community, Williamsburg Jewelers is known for its exquisite craftsmanship, personalized service, and commitment to the community. This is a great opportunity to visit their location, hear their story, and celebrate the launch of this exciting new series.

Williamsburg Jewelers, known as 'Where Williamsburg Goes to Get Engaged,' has seen remarkable growth since opening in 2019. They provide a pressure-free shopping experience and are the exclusive home of the ORIGINAL Williamsburg C-shaped cuff bracelets. 

Beyond their business success, Williamsburg Jewelers is deeply committed to our community, contributing donations to local charities and hosting popular 'Adopt Me Saturdays' with Heritage Humane Society. They consistently partner with over 60 local businesses, embodying their 'Captain Local' spirit, and have been recognized as the 'Overall Gold - Best Jewelry Store' by Coastal Virginia Magazine readers.

Registration

This event is free for GWCC members, but space is limited and registration is required to secure your spot. Tickets are $15 for Prospective Members.
