Common Grounds Networking Event

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue Common Grounds, a new, FREE FOR MEMBERS networking series designed to foster deeper connections and propel business growth within our vibrant community.

Join us for our next session, where you'll have the chance to network with fellow members, enjoy a dedicated spotlight on our host, and deliver a 60-second pitch about your business. It's the perfect way to make new connections and strengthen existing ones in one of Williamsburg's most unique venues.

Cost: Free for GWCC members.

What to Expect

Start your morning right with a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. We'll have coffee and light breakfast snacks ready for you upon arrival.

The 75-minute event will follow a structured yet informal format:

Arrival & Refreshments: Grab a cup of coffee and a snack while you mingle and check out the lanes.

Host Spotlight: Our host, NES Cornhole Lounge, will get a brief spotlight to introduce their business, share their mission, and give you a glimpse into their exciting facility.

Round-the-Room Pitches: This is your chance to shine! You'll have 60 seconds to introduce yourself and your business to a room of fellow members.

Informal Networking: Following the pitches, continue the conversation and build on the connections you've made in a casual, fun setting.

About Our Host: NES Cornhole Lounge

We are thrilled to be hosted by NES Cornhole Lounge for this session of Common Grounds. Located in the Williamsburg Premium Outlets (just down the sidewalk from Ben & Jerry’s), NES Cornhole Lounge is a unique and exciting indoor facility.

Think luxury bowling alley, but with cornhole and a bar! While they are well-known for hosting competitive leagues and tournaments, the facility is a premier destination for corporate team building, networking, and social events. With food and beverages available onsite and a welcoming environment for a diverse group of players, NES has even earned the humorous nickname of “the husband day care” by local shoppers! Registration

This event is free for GWCC members, but space is limited and registration is required to secure your spot. Tickets are $15 for Prospective Members.

Interested in showcasing your business? "Common Grounds" is the perfect way to get a dedicated 5-10 minute spotlight, generate new leads, and enhance your brand visibility in an intimate setting of 20-30 fellow members. Host spots for the 2025-2026 fiscal year are limited.
