Get ready to rewind and rock around the Christmas tree! The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) is thrilled to host the highly anticipated 2025 Christmas Parade. This cherished annual tradition brings our community together in a dazzling display of holiday spirit, illuminating the streets of Williamsburg on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM.

This year, we're taking a joyful leap back in time with our exciting theme: "Rocking Retro Christmas!" We invite parade units and groups to journey through the decades, choosing their favorite era – from the fabulous 50s and swinging 60s to the funky 70s, electric 80s, and cool 90s – and interpreting it with festive, illuminated decorations. Spectators can expect a vibrant showcase of Christmastime nostalgia, as floats adorned with everything from poodle skirts and jukeboxes to disco balls and leg warmers light up the early evening sky. We want to see the best of each era at Christmastime!

• Important Note: Parade slots fill up extremely quickly each year due to overwhelming popularity. We strongly recommend registering promptly on July 21st, 2025, to secure your spot!

Unit Entry Costs:

• Regular Unit Entry: $150
• Nonprofit Organizations: $100

Special Early Access for Marching Bands: Local marching bands (middle school, high school, and collegiate musical instrument marching bands only) can secure early access by reaching out directly to Lauren Moore, Vice President of Communications & Programming.

To Complete Your Parade Entry, All Units MUST Supply: 

To ensure a smooth and safe event for all, your application will only be processed upon receipt of ALL required materials. All articles must be received by September 25th, 2025, to participate.

1. Completed Application: Submit your online application form.
2. Completed Form 2 Participation Waiver. Download HERE.
3. Proof of Organization's Liability Insurance.
4. Vehicle Insurance (if a motorized unit).
5. Attendance to a Mandatory Safety Meeting.
6. Entry Fee Payment.
