The board voted to continue the terms of its current board chair and committee leadership, providing continuity as CLS builds on the success of the Class of 2026 and prepares for the Class of 2028. In addition, three new board members have been appointed to bring fresh perspectives and talents to the organization’s work.

The board also recognized the completion of the At-Large Board Member term of Connie Harshaw ’24 as part of the organization’s regular leadership transition process.

The CLS Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight for the program, supporting curriculum development, participant recruitment, alumni engagement, community partnerships, and organizational sustainability.

Serving on the 2026-2028 Board are:

• Curriculum & Program Development Chair – Melinda Morgan ‘18

• Curriculum & Program Development Vice Chair – Patti Ralabate ‘24

• Finance Chair – Joe Moore ‘24

• Marketing & Recruitment Chair – Eileen Murray ‘24

• Marketing & Recruitment Vice Chair – Barbara Jordan ‘26

• At-Large Directors – Ray Brown ’26 and Ann Ruble ‘26

Committee member appointments include Mike McGregor ‘26, Cathy Seifert ‘25, and Lorna Triplett ‘26. Topic Day Leaders for the Class of 2028 are currently being finalized, along with additional committee assignments which will be announced in the coming months.

Founded in 2006, Community Leadership Service (CLS), a program of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, recently concluded its 20th anniversary year, celebrating two decades of developing informed, engaged leaders committed to strengthening the Greater Williamsburg community.
