CLS Class of 2026: Commitment to Serve

CLS Class of 2026: Commitment to Serve

Dedicated to making a measurable difference in the Greater Williamsburg community, the Community Leadership Service (CLS) Class of 2026 recently launched its community service commitment by volunteering at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. A strong contingent from the Class of '26, along with several CLS Board members, assembled 520 boxes of nutritious food for delivery to local seniors facing food insecurity.

The volunteer experience offered participants a firsthand look at the extensive effort required to provide food assistance to so many neighbors in need. Building on CLS's longstanding tradition of service, the Class of 2026 looks forward to organizing additional volunteer projects throughout the year to support the Greater Williamsburg community.

Founded in 2006, Community Leadership Service (CLS) is a program of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and recently concluded its 20th anniversary year, celebrating two decades of developing informed, engaged leaders committed to strengthening the Greater Williamsburg community. Through its immersive leadership experience, CLS connects participants with the people, organizations, and issues shaping the region while encouraging a lifelong commitment to community leadership and service.
