On May 30–31, 2026, as many as 500 cyclists from across the region will come together for Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads, a premier cycling experience hosted by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This signature event fuels critical progress in addressing the challenges of multiple sclerosis (MS) by raising essential funds and awareness to advance research, improve treatments, and bring us closer to a cure for a disease that affects an estimated one million people in the United States.

With a fully supported course featuring scenic routes and a vibrant atmosphere, Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads is the place where riders of all skill levels, including our I Ride with MS participants, unite with friends, family, colleagues, and supporters for an unforgettable weekend with purpose.

The 2026 event marks a milestone 10th anniversary for Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads. Participants are invited to celebrate this decade of impact by cycling through 250 years of American history, journeying from Richmond to Williamsburg or enjoying routes in and around Williamsburg—birthplace of our nation and home to some of America’s most iconic landmarks.

Riders may choose between open-road routes or the renowned Virginia Capital Trail, a world-class paved cycling path that links Virginia’s rich past with its vibrant present. Along the way, participants will experience rolling farmland, sweeping river views, historic battlefields, and centuries of American history—from colonial crossroads to Civil War landmarks—all while helping to create a world free of MS.
